R. Butler & Associates Partners With Gateway CDC For "The Lab Magazine"
The inaugural Issue of The Lab Magazine
On December 2nd, 2021, R. Butler & Associates partnered with Gateway Community Development Corporation to launch The Lab Magazine.
The monthly publication is an extension of the Gateway Media Arts Lab, a creative media entrepreneur incubator in the Gateway Arts District of Prince George’s County, Maryland.
R. Butler & Associates Principal, Rhett Butler serves as both the Co-Editor-in-Chief and Managing Editor.
“Everybody in the Lab is an independent entrepreneur or they do dynamic creative work. However, they ‘re all very busy. What I know is everyone’s story. I felt we needed a place where everybody can congregate together and the world can see what it looks like when they were all collectives in the same space.
The inaugural December 2021 issue features Sherri Roberts Lumpkin, Executive Director of the Ragbaby Exchange on its cover.
Mr. Buter will work with Michelle Darden Lee, Director of the Gateway Media Arts Lab and Co-Editor-in-Chief of The Lab Magazine to publish the magazine monthly.
Stories of artists with the Gateway Media Arts Lab, Gateway Arts District, and the municipalities of Mount Rainier, Brentwood, North Brentwood, and Hyattsville within Prince George’s County, Maryland will also be told.
